Good nutrition for adolescents - some simple tips

If you are reading this you are a teenager or you have teens in your home. You want to assure you that the you or your children are overweight or obese. We will discuss a good diet for teens which is easy to understand and easy to follow. It is not some crazy routine which they must follow. It is just a few guidelines to make sure they eat healthy.


There are a few rules that make good nutrition for teenagers. The first is eat often. You want to make sure they eat meals at least four to six. This rev up their metabolism and keep it at a high running pace. It is also important that they drink lots of water. Stock of water in your home instead of sodas. They'll drink that, because there is nothing else. As long as they drink 64 ounces per day minimum will be good. Also, it is time to unhealthy or downwards for a small amount. These foods have excessive calories, and sometimes more than 50% of the daily amount calories in them. You don't want 50% of your calories from a meal. Which goes contrary to one of our first rules who has been eating 4-6 small meals.


Here are some general guidelines for good nutrition for teenagers. If it's simple, it will be easier for them to follow. These rules are incredibly simple and can be tracked by anyone.Really everything is consistency of healthy habits. If you can keep your teens consistently better food, drinking water and exercising then you are on the right track.
